Why would anyone in their right mind trade a Dolmar for a Stihl or Husqvarna? (pun intended)View attachment 179787 View attachment 179788
First dolmar, cost me 80$ with the case because the local stihl and husky shop figured it would be a hard sell after they took for a trade.
My 6100 has the easy start.View attachment 179794
Not do sound dumb but do they all have the easy start or is it an option?
I looked into changing out the easy start on my 5105 and from my research, I understand the crankshaft is actually different between the two.The elder version has a regular starter assembly.
Part number 181 160 110, can still be bought new, don't know if it's interchangeable.

Thanks for setting the record straight!Only flywheel and starter assembly differ, cranks are the same (there was however a change to the crank
between 2012 and 2013 but that was pre-easy-start AFAIK)
