I was surprised by some of the prices on Dolmar/Makita OEM parts.
Wow AJ. That is quick!
Little and large
How much run time do You get on the large saw out of the little saws battery set, like about 1 piss rew?
That is one of very few non Dolmar saws I would really like to give a try, she must be a powerhouse.Being large is a relative concept. See what appeared in motorsaegenportal.de

The large 9010 seems like a toy saw next to the 3120
Banana bar tip, no flipping of that bar around for even wear. That’s nice , I sold one back in the summer good runners nice solid feel about them there where 10 or so variants to this chassis so getting a runner out of several carcasses is quite easy and fun to do

Decompression valve placement can be different, other than that a PS-7910 P&C kit is a direct bolt on.Is there a difference between 7900/7910 top ends when swapping out on a 6400? If I finally pull the trigger want to get the correct parts.
I just bought a cheap aftermarket 7900 top end kit for $55 plus shipping from HL Supply. First aftermarket part I've ever bought. I want to do some amateur porting so I figured why not give it a try.Is there a difference between 7900/7910 top ends when swapping out on a 6400? Perfect. Thanks.Decompression valve placement can be different, other than that a PS-7910 P&C kit is a direct bolt on.
Don't bother looking for PS-7900 P&C kits, they have been NLA for a while.
Just get the PS-7910 conversion kit, it includes the cylinder cover.
