Rescued from the scrap yard a few years ago. Seems to have had an easy life. It needed fuel system refresh and crank seals.
Unfortunately it had sat in a damp location at some point and the bottom of the rear handle has some white rot in, that doesn't affect anything though.

Modified Mark provided me with the details on the seals (I had the right parts on hand), and Bufford Parrish had rings, the AF cover springs, and the recoil starter spring. Other bits I had or made something work.

The rings I received from Bufford Parrish, they had square ends so I had to file some notches to clear the locating pins in the piston.

I did not capture all of the gorey details, but some of the parts were in really bad shape when I got this one. I was able to get most everything working correctly, and to replace a few bits

Pair of Poulans popped up on the marketplace this morning. Any good? I’ll go grab them on your behalf if so. $30 for two
Those are good little saw, great for limbing and quick cleanup work. Usually the fuel lines can be iffy, but are easy to replace. Also make for great loaner saws or for younger ones "first" saws!

Earlier in the week I had this Craftsman example on the bench, replaced the fuel lines and fuel filter, cleaned the carburetor, and it is ready to go cut some wood again.

Fuel line was broken off in the tank and it had evidently been operating without the benefit of the fuel filter for a while.

That's a Poulan 2150 which is a really good cheap saw.
