I do not, though I have 2 NOS brake kits in boxes for the 5200's. Most brakes of that era were sold in Canada.
the guy i got the saw from bought it new here in PA. curious as to what all parts are in a kit. comparing it to my other 5200 the side cover is a little different. thanks for the reply.

Interestingly, Claude Poulan's grandson posted (I think on AS) that "Pole-an" was in fact correct.

I think I would have reverted to the French pronunciation after correcting people about 1,000 times.

Have you ever been to Shreveport?

Some of tad may recall the issues I was having with my 375. After new seals, carb builds, rings, lines, etc it would idle but would big down. Turned out the vent line was linked. Duh!
Now it runs like a scalded dog but is the hardest starter I have. I always have to prime the carb to get it going. While that works it is a pain. Anyone got any ideas on what's up?

Yep like Motorhead has suggested try and fatten it up with the metering lever.

Well, this saw is in my collection now! It arrived in less than a week, from BC to my mailbox in perfect shape, thanks to the superb job of packing that Pete did. Anyway, it's probably sacrilege to some of you, but I fueled and ran this saw. Amazing that this thing sat for probably 35+ years, NIB, and it only took about 8 pulls to bring it to life. Still need to fine-tune the carb adjustment, but the saw is awesome!

EDIT: Dinked with the carb a bit more and the factory 1 turn out on the H and L screws seems to be perfect, surprisingly, even at 6000 feet in elevation. Probably just a hair fat, but I'd rather run it fat than too lean. Nice little saw! I did put a cheapie Oregon Double Guard bar on it, to keep from buggering up the OEM bar.

This big green monster came in the mail today. I wonder if it is stronger than my 655's since they are all 6 cube saws. I suspect the 6000 (153) has more torque and the 655's have greater speed. 153 vs p62 under a box store label.

I'll be very surprised if that Dolmar doesn't have more grunt than a 655.

I'm betting on the 655. I've never heard the 6000's were power houses. Never ran one though.

I never ran one either but I always heard those big dolmars were supposed to be quite snotty. Guess we'll see.

I hope you have a strong arm and steady foot for that monster. They are brutes to start. If the compression is spec. Also when they cut have a good grip they can pull away from you quick if they pinch. Great find.
