Nice saw except for that sticker on the side of the cylinder cover.
Very nice looking 4000 but have you run it in wood yet.

Haven't run it in any real wood yet. The mountains are still snowed in. My favorite firewood cutting spot is still under 5' of snow, unfortunately.

Ordered 7700 rings off eBay. Waiting to get em. Been assembling and building this saw for bout three years now. A true franklin saw. Pic when it's finished.
What's a good size bar to run on this? Got a 20 and a 24

Yep, bare cylinder, chrome piston. They run very well. I have way too many of that series but I really like them. One 4000 and I would like more of those but they tend to be too pricey.

2008 3516 AVX. I been dropped out of a tree by my uncle. Had a older brother drop a tree on me. My younger brothers rolled a log over me and kicked me out of the back of the truck going down the road and I still have all my parts undamaged. My Daddy is so proud of me.

Had alot of the 3750TA but only 1 3450TA so far. All went to collectors.
The top one was a close as NOS as you could get. Also had the front exit muffler.

Some have black tanks, some green, 2 different mufflers too.

Nice find Gary on the TA 3750. Other than the bar looking a little rusty the rest of the saw looks very good. All the covers and decals all look like their in good shape. Nice.

The saw popped and sputtered on the first pull. Two pulls later it was running (forgot to reset the throttle lock on the first one). May keep it as a GTG saw to open some eyes.

It just came on the floor of a local pawn shop today for a decent price, I was able to get for approximately 1/3 less.

Glad I put my 330 up. Good to see the rest of the series rolling out of the sheds.

I do not, though I have 2 NOS brake kits in boxes for the 5200's. Most brakes of that era were sold in Canada.
