My inlaws have a little MTD tiller with that engine, works pretty good for a low price machine.
One of the coolest little saws ever!
Where can I find the replacement duck bill for the fuel cap on the Super XXV DA?So the boy was over Saturday night. Was telling me the S25DA I gave him wouldnt start. Then he goes on to extoll the virtues of his 455 Rancher and MS661C that both have primers. I said the old stuff was made for grownups, so I expected him to have trouble(he's 31)
I went by and picked it up today. "SOMEONE" cross threaded the gas cap. No seal=no positive pressure in fuel system= no worky.
Found a buddy with a spare cap. Had to replace the rotten duckbill. Now it worky.
Than youMine isnt OEM. Its a workaround, but works well. I use a short piece of ink pen ink tube. The db valve fits tightly on that. Drill out the hole in the cap until tue pen tube just fits or add a drop of super glue. Press db valve over pen tube. View attachment 205886 View attachment 205887 View attachment 205888

The amount of gunk was insane
Huh?? I don't seem to see any noticeable dirt on your pics. IMHO that saw looks pretty clean
