I remembered when i got the stairs in to the second story during construction ,no more ladder to get up there was so nice.

Good morning friends and neighbors. I'm on my own for a few days, my little wife is gone with her sister to Gatlinburg. It takes quite a lot of time to do her chores and mine in the mornings. lol

Car decking?
It'll be 1x8 v-groove, black synthetic underlayment, 6" polyiso, 2x4 sleepers, and then green screw down metal roofing.

2x6 tounge and groove pine or fir is called car decking out here ,you can deck your car trailer with it also , Common when have 4 foot span like you have there out in this area .

That's what we have for the second floor. But this is all 2' span. I have done the 2x on barns before.

I did some churches with laminated beams and bull tongue decking. Three 2x6s bonded together to make T&G.

Mine too. Her,the daughter and granddaughter's annual henfest at the lake. I get an extra dog plus all my wife's critters to take care of.

That was for the roof........then 2" foam with the conduit routed into it, then 3/4 plywood screwed down on it.
