Good morning, looking for 60 degrees with sunshine and blue skies. Might get roped into cleaning up an old rotten Poplar tree at Hippy Bobs place. It's gonna' burn where it fell if it ain't too soggy.
Of course I'll take a couple fishin' rigs,,,

I actually miss driving my 4x4 in the snow. (Remembering one foot of fluffy white stuff hindering the cops chasing me when I worked for the rock radio station.)

I actually miss driving my 4x4 in the snow. (Remembering one foot of fluffy white stuff hindering the cops chasing me when I worked for the rock radio station.)

Drive home from work. Being an actual Canuck and not some "wimp" that had to move to Florida we will still get some winter weather (Please insert sarcasm and humour emojis here, there's too many for me to chose from) . I can remember significant snow as late as May long weekend. Nothing like going to sleep in the tent and waking up to 8" of white stuff when you unzip the flap.

Well made it home okay last night but this is what greeted me when I let the pooch out this morning.

They're saying almost 4 inches fell, it doesn't look like that much accumulation as much of it was melting on contact. It is going to be as slippery as hell under there. The commute will not be fun...

Says the guy from Aussieland that probably has never seen snow.

I should take a picture out the front and show you the 10ft plus pile that is still there.

Considering how suburban we are I really love how secluded and private our backyard is, it's one of the ways my wife convinced me to buy this one last year.

Well this morning is -6c/21f so yesterdays fluffy white is now crunchy ice. If it doesn't melt today I may have to address the driveway and that will really suck now.

Hardest part about this is that it was 60F on Monday and the yard was clear of snow.
