Didn't find a service manual for the 2638. Saw that you posted on TractorbyNet. Tried to look at Facebook - Mahindra 2536/2638 owners' page.
Didn't see a manual, the group is private and anyone has to sign up to get into the group. Only saw an owner's manual for free.
Mahindra site may have a service manual.

That's simular to what I've found.
Thanks Ray, and since I'm not on FB some of those possible options are not open to me.

I inquired through the public lib today, lets see where that leads.

I’m late to the sob story party, but I visited a neighbor recently asking if I could buy some cypress knees from him (part of a tree root used for carving and woodworking). The house was closed up so tight I couldn’t see any light through the curtains, and this was late afternoon, certainly not dark. I could hear people inside and so I knocked on the door a couple of times, but no one came. Then I heard a couple of shotgun blasts out behind the house and naively figured that someone was out back target shooting, so I walked around the house. The neighbor came storming out the back door swearing like a sailor and pointed the gun towards me. I tried telling him what I wanted but it’s hard to be rational staring down a 12 gauge barrel. He told me to “git” and I “gitted.” He used to be a fine neighbor but I’m pretty sure he and his family are messed up with dealing drugs.

You need to tell the cops about him if you haven't already. No need to tell them he pointed a gun at you, just say you suspect drug activity at the house and there are firearms present so that it will be on their radar.

The cops in our area are so crooked I don’t feel like bothering. They could be customers of his for all I know.

I found a tractor service manual (252 pages) that suggest the information could be on the emmisions label affixed to the engine, And I looked at my label and the line of information is obmitted on the one that I have.
Now to research a workshop/service manual for the CE-38 engine! And it seems that the same engine could have several ECM flashings available, Oh another rabbit-hole . . .

At least I now may have cold lash numbers of about .010(in) and .012(exh) for a different engine (tuning differences are the claim) in the series.

Yikes! Curtains closed up tight in the middle of the day often means paranoid people who have been awake far too long. I used to work in our local mental health system and nose candy + no sleep = bad times. That stuff will turn a fine person inside out and then some. It's probably best to give a wide berth to people like your neighbor. Armed and irrational people are no fun.

100%. Thankfully, even though they are neighbors, their house is accessed from a different road from mine so it leads to very few interactions.

Not that long ago many comments suggested your neighbors were the local laws customer. They could steal and never be prosecuted..
Some conversation believe the county commissioners not wanting to pay for a violators room and board has opened the doors for more problem to move to our county.

Our neighbor got his skid steer forks in his tub grinder and didn't catch it. We had to fork all the hay out and then extract it with another tractor. He got off lucky nothing bent beyond use. Loads of fun.

We might sell a few dozens. Last year we sold close to 1,200dz and ran out super early.

Let me know if you ship!

Always wondered about the honor system roadside stands. I think in our rural area it would be pretty straightforward as there are no real reasons for city folks (read as some less honorable than others) to be passing thru. Do y'all have generally the right amount of $ for product put out?

Roadside honor system? There's a place a couple of miles from here with a big stand out front.
As a lifelong Insomniac, I seriously like being able to go pick up a watermelon in the middle of the night.
Years ago In another place, used to be a stand with scales and bags. Weigh your own stuff and drop in the money. The guy died though and the land is a housing development now.
