Dribbling N on ? We started side dressing yesterday but it rained a inch overnight and now Pops is hauling corn in to fill a couple June contracts and I'm wasting time, I mean spending time learning, on OPE.

Must not have an axle lock ?
Yes putting on nitrogen

Truck does have locker. Still wouldn’t move. Tired are bald but as you know trucks don’t like mud much

@jblnut on my trucks those lockers only make the front and rear axles pull. Doesn’t lock them to make all 8 tires pull. So basically I had one tire on back pulling and one on front pulling. I don’t have any trucks with the feature to make all 8 tires pull. I’ve never seen one but I’m sure they do make them

You must have an interlock. An interlock locks axles together and will allow opposite corners to spin. Driving with the interlock is engaged pleasant as both sides are free to spin at different speeds as the truck makes turns. I'm sure you know what a diff lock does. If you flip both on (if equipped) forget about steering. Like a dualed up 2wd tractor with the diff lock on. Steering isn't going to happen lol.

Our farm truck (FLD132 with a shortened double frame and a 60 Series Detroit) has both an interlock and difflocks. Paired with some open shoulder mining tires it's tough to get stuck. You better be pointed where you want to go when you decide you need both as there is no chance of steering with those floaty 425's out front. The truck is a blast to drive and we've talked about moving away from it to another pair of large gravity boxes as it sees more road time hauling equipment for a local excavation company than it does doing farm things. I don't think it's been in my yard yet in 2025. Might be time for it to go lol.

Late start on haying season around here. Hay down everywhere now. Had to cut it short as hay is too wet in other part of field to bale. Will hit it tomorrow after lunch and then have dad drop the rest of the fields next Tuesday. While I am still working the day job we try to make it where I can be there on the weekend in case any thing goes wrong.

Ground where we stopped at had the tires on the equipment wet. Dad raked it to get it up in the wind to help with the drying. Should be able to finish this afternoon with no problems.

We got almost an inch of rain on my freshly teddered hay so I went out to retedder it. It made a fluffy mess of it again. The lawnmower was a perfect match for this thing.

I can’t believe it’s dry a day after a once of rain but it is. That tedder works magic of sorts.

Bob the baler (can he bale it, yes he can!) worked like a champ gobbling it up like a fat kid pointed at a pile of chocolate chip cookies. Without doubt some of the nicest hay I’ve made in a long time. Even with the rain on it it was nice and green and smelled amazing.

The tractor got its underside cleaned off the last few days. I did 4 tanks around field edges for myself today in the worst stuff. It sure why but the preemerge didn’t seem to be near as effective this year. Almost every acre of beans will need a second pass due to waterhemp and a little giant ragweed here and there.

Just sitting there, hasn't been started in months.

Trailer hasn't been moved in at least a year.
Other tractor attachments even longer.
