Those are pretty nice to have, there are a couple of those over here, my neighbor to the south has a 3 row Deere. I used to pick a lot of corn with it when I was in high school.

I’m needing some husking bed fingers. They are breaking off and replacement nla
I thought maybe a tractor tire sidewall would be thick enough to try to make some. Idk

What’s these husking fingers you speak of ? How many wagon loads you pick? I used to grind whole corn just don’t have a picker anymore. My uncles father in law had about a mate to yours. Looked pretty similar

Ministry of agriculture wanna keep the cows out the waterways now the years
Are getting drier so there paying out grants so they want you to sort other ways
Of water for the cattle but the secret is leave some grazing next to the stream
And you can let them in there so many days of the year

thatsa good set of discs they do a good pass
It’s the best I’ve ever used case 330. They pull bad but do good work. Still almost always gotta work it twice. Once in a while once is pretty good enough. Not very often though. Thing I really like is you can pull it fast. I’m trying to run 7. It’s rated up to 9 but I don’t think I could sit in the seat at 9 lol

I spent a long time looking for anything. Just nothing checks out wrong. Nothing hot above that could’ve fell. Just nothing anywhere. Odd for sure. Not sure if that little sensor could’ve created enough friction from build up (chaff) then burnt the chaff away from itself and just kept burning. No clue

Yes every year different over here all the corn silage is cut and government are paying a grant too seed it with rye grass right after harvesting too stop erosion
Then late April a cut of silage then pile on the slurry and plough for corn again
