The circus clowns are barking about rain for the next 7 days hopefully something materializes. At least they are barking about lower temps also.

It's raining here now. On the Cumberland Plateau, our average annual precipitation is generally from 50 to 55 inches.

We always just use old feed sacks & empty mineral tubs.

We’ve always used the burlap but we used to get the printed potato bags, I miss those. All the growers around here either use burlap or nylon bags or sell it in cardboard watermelon bins. I’d love to start selling it by the cardboard bin but all of our customers want it in bags. It’s easier to handle for them in bags but more work for me.

Every step is crunchy here. My dad talks about his grandfather who was a preacher and how even in the middle of dry times like this God will provide for His creatures. There is always something blooming to feed the bees no matter the time of year. Dad will be 76 in a few weeks and is slowing down and I'm still trying to push him somewhat at times. Seen too many people that just stop doing anything and don't last after that.

That’s ugly looking, I sure hope you folks get some rain soon.

Found an old picture of my first big screw up at work. I doubt I ever posted it here. If I did it was years ago. I’ll toss it in. Give you guys a laugh
