what else besides brake cleaner and bee spray can I use to get rid of yellow jacket nest
I usually use gas and a lighter but it is on my porch

It's hard to kill them bastards. I usually just have a liquid wasp spray can in each hand and attack after dark.

@dall yup it is.
Years back 2 buddies and I were on a roof job. Front of the house had a small dormer over the entry and the yellow jackets had nested inside. We couldn't work near the area. All 3 of us got stung before we even knew they were there. The next day we were prepared for battle. We brought a roofer torch and an LP tank. I stood on the scaffold with the torch while another guy banged on the dormer roof. I kept frying them as they flew out of the eve. They just kept coming and coming. Musta been hundreds.

Hit the yellow jackets about an hour or so before first sign of morning twilight.
Seems to be when they're least likely to move around.
I've gone to dose 'em a couple hours after sundown and had them fly onto my flashlight.
I always use a dim flashlight for working on them now.

Thanks Boss man, works good with the pressure at 21 lbs. @ 16 gallons /acre. = 1.0 qts. roundup. and 3 qts. 24d. Amine/acre.

What sprayer is that? I have a 55 gallon sprayer, but it just sprays off the center. No booms. I needed to rig up a boom on it.

Mr. Randy. this is a small tank that I rigged up for the Gator. The booms do 15.5 feet. The tank is to small to do many acres. I will be upgrading the tank next year to a bigger one, but the new 28 foot booms cost way more than the sprayer! Plus You have to watch your amps. ( With this gator no more than 12 amp draw on the alternator. )

The Gator earning it's keep today doing broadleaf and grass control in the wheat Dove fields today with the new GPS system. Can hold it at 3 mph easy on the flat land. View attachment 302076 View attachment 302075 View attachment 302074 View attachment 302071
I have a 25 gallon sprayer, that just has a 3’ boom but will cover around a 30’swath. A single center tip & adjustable angle tips on both ends, all three can be turned off/on individually. I mostly just spray thistles, terraces & fence lines with it.

Yes, each boom or center boom. Or each nozzle. Or center boom?
Yes, just twist a cap to turn them on/off, use them in any on/off configuration. there is a switch to turn the boom off so you can just use the wand. It works great to just use just one side for fences & terrace backs. I’m on my second year with it. I use ratchet straps to hold it in the back of the Gator.

Here is a pic of the boom shutoff & pressure adjustment lever.

Here’s a pic of the on/off caps on the nozzles & the end nozzles swivel 360*, the center nozzle is not adjustable but can be shut off independently.

Seems keeping Kyle on feed an extra month made a difference.. I’ve not seen that much marbling in a filet in a while.

My favorite cut of the beefer.. tenderloin.. I always have them pulled whole and cut them myself.

Beef.....

It’s whats for dinner....
