Once my folks have moved to the new place I won't ever go back to the farm. This last year hasn't been easy. I've realized a lot about not only myself but about my brothers and my folks. Some good, some bad.

I have too. Its amazing how different we are. We believe that as a family are all the same with the same ideals and same way of thinking. Then when we all are faced with a major event that affects us all, individuality really stands out. Some actions surprising, and some not.

Well boys, it's finished. Our family dairy farm has been sold. As of November 1 it has new owners.

I can't 'like' any part of this. I know exactly how tough it is. Just know that the farm will always be with you and your folks.

I have a Vermeer 605 super j I would have sold you cheap that has half the belts on it new. That if you would have been closer.

Snow is over here but a lot of drifting! Son's are out plowing now! Between the three of us we take care of a hundred and eighty miles of country roads. I get lucky and get the day shift! Something to do besides logging I guess.

We're just getting a cold wind with mist down here. How's the silage feeding going?

State pulled the plows off the roads about three this afternoon . Still off the roads now, tow ban till six in the morning.
