That seller has been very hit or miss with the McCulloch guys ,but communication is nil so I wouldn't spend money with her.

Nope. It's just the way some people think...
I see MS170 and 180s all the time being listed for the same price if not more than the cost of new. I think sometimes people scroll through FB marketplace and see $180 Stihl Chainsaw and automatically think they're getting a good deal.
If there's one posted in a group that over $50 more than new price, I point that out in the comments and grab my popcorn.

I didn't save it, but a guy posted a rusted out dump trailer for 3k firm, when he lowered the price to 2800 firm I sent a message saying Firm LOL, his response wasn't too pleasant, not sure why .
Now he's down to 2500 firm .
It's interesting when you point out peoples hypocrisy .

Around here they can get 3-4ft without getting hollow. Could be that northern road salt and moisture making your trees rust.
