I wonder if that is the same 308 that was on Craigslist a week or so earlier with a garage full of tools for $100. see a earlier post that has a picture embedded. Location is close to a hour between the 2.

Earlier this year a boss at work gave me most of those Foley tools. First was the 308 grinder then all the rest. They were his dads and he just wanted them gone. Called me one morning and said hey Dan I got all the stuff loaded up give me your address.

Reversible motor, CBN wheels available...whats not to like? It does do a really good job sharpening a chain! And the best is it was free! Oh also got a box of wheels with it.

Curious how easy it is to set up; use compared to the Oregon style grinders; visibility of chain while grinding; things like that; etc.

Not much different at all. I think the only downside is the smaller wheel?

Looks like a pretty big motor. And, that you get more use out of the wheel, due to the belt drive.

1. Old fan, heavy, blades good, no clue if it works
2. Old hand well pump head
3. Jonsered chain saw with super long bar, was going to build a saw with the power head but never did, good compression
4. Old pioneer saw, ran when cord broke hasn’t been run in years
5. Old brass soldering torch
6. Overhead shower hoist. Motor runs, goes down but not up, probably the reverse cam or something, likely fixable but I don’t want to mess with fixing it
7. Barrel pump for pumping liquids from a container. Never tried to use it, no clue if it works.
