Haven't thought that far Wayne? I know I have a 346 cylinder and a Meteor piston on the shelf though! What should I do since I'm a Stihl guy...[emoji16]Nice are you gonna port that head or sell it?

That's what I hear! Those removable trans covers makes it real easy to get the uppers and stuff when you dont have a fancy spinning thingy.
That's what I hear!
That will be enough out of you trouble maker![emoji6]Lol!
Steel guy... with a 346 p/c just sitting there on the shelf. I love it!
Along with a 026, 044, 066 and a couple other Stihl cylinders...Lol!

This was on the 346 I picked up last November. It had a couple messed up spark plug threads so i bought a new OEM top end kit. Then i bought the insert kit and fixed the threads. HL had the Meteor piston for $25 one day.At how cheap the oem ones are why not.
Glad you were able to get it.I met up with the owner of the Husky 350 today! The story was a branch fell on it and now it runs but the clutch wont spin. Racked my brain for two days along with a few of you guys! Well I looked at it and gave him the $25 he was asking. Came with a 18" bar and newer Stihl chain. Upon inspection the handle was bent and the front bar stud was pushed into the tank. I tried to put the clutch cover on but the brake was engaged. When I noticed that I spun the clutch and it was free. That's when I thought it's time to pick up my new saw and shake hands and leave. I stopped at parking lot with good lighting on the way home. She fired up and the clutch spins just fine! So my guess is the branch hit the saw and bent the top handle and engaged the brake. He hot the throttle and the chain didnt spin. He then took the clutch cover off to check it out. I bet he had to pry off the cover and that's how the bar stud made its was into the oil tank. Here it is. It will soon have a 346 p/c on it!![]()

You jest what, jest jealous lol.Surely I jest...
Helluva saw score Dan.
I had a @t4driller 2150 with the flat tp piston he did. And that why I wanna make an orange one.Glad you were able to get it.
As was previously stated YOU SUCK.
Sell all those stihls and buy a bunch more husky's.
This.
You would be surprised at what those little saws can do with a little work, many guys run the heck out of them with the stock cylinder. My 2145 has a cheap AM 346 cylinder on it and it runs right with a 550, although I'm not promoting any AM parts. Did you see the 350 saw build thread done by Matt Olson?
You should see what some of the husky guys have on their shelves.
@RI Chevy I need help!
They are great saws, and I've never had any paint chip off the bottom either lol.I had a @t4driller 2150 with the flat tp piston he did. And that why I wanna make an orange one.
I'm sure he'd help by buying all your Stihls lol
Good to here. Stock they aren't overly impressive, but run an 18x325 well for light limbing and will cut a 10-12" log okay for the weight, anything more and I'm grabbing a bigger saw unless it's only one or two cuts, the ported one I have runs a good bit stronger though.Driller has my 346 and 066 now. Just cutting the base and squish on the 066.
I got the bar stud back in and reset the chain brake and got the clutch cover on. Tomorrow I'll mount the bar and chain and Saturday I'll test it out. 7a-7p really sucks at this time of year!
