I'm thinking he doesn't like the price...
He's cheap anyway:risas3:.
Little much, but at least he has the right # and names of the saws and actually puts a price, seems everyone wants to do an auction these days, just put the price no matter how high, I'm not into all the back and forth it just gets old.

Psssst, no 391's in there:aaaaa:.
361 parts saw with a 16" blade, might be a deal.

If it was a 461 not a 361, then I would be dialing some numbers on my phone...

Nothing in that ad peaked my interest thou.

I pretty much agree. It would be the thousands of chains and hundreds of bars that a guy could make a few bucks on. Would need to go in person and haul back.

I agree, I also don't think any MS660 is worth $1000 these days unless it is new in a box or Arctic.
That's how I feel too, but real nice ones and new ones will sell for a grand as they have a great reputation(it you are willing to wait), many guys don't want to mess with the mtronic and autotune saws, and I don't blame the. That being said I have a lot of them(AT and mtronic saws) and haven't lost a cent on one yet, and I've made a bunch of money with them.

@odin you are close to this

20 minute drive or so. I picked up a partial 064 and an MS361 from there. 064 is getting parted (damnit). 361 is going to get rebuilt. Need to ask him about his 026's, and bars, and chains... and...

You know how you've got a box in the garage, or the basement... it's full of bits and parts from stuff you've worked on, stuff that you just couldn't throw away. Maybe you've got a few of these boxes. Just stuff you thought you'd maybe need at some point down the road. You should probably just pitch the whole lot of it, but there that ol' box sits, year after year.

Well, that whole place is like that box. Like a box of bits, greasy parts, thrashed carburetors, spark plugs, light bulbs, nuts, screws, bolts, caps, washers, whatever. Except this place isn't a box. It's an entire Morton building.

Might take me a bit to get back there, but holler if you need me to check into anything for you.

Closeout sail at stihl dealer, everything must go...

https://salina.craigslist.org/fod/d/stihl/6670202821.html

Every time I look at the picture of the Stihl display at that place, I try to sort out how it was taken (in a former life I was a photographer). Must have been at least 10 years ago. Everything there is covered in dust and grime. Chit piled on top of chit. It's absolutely crazy.

That being said, I really need to get back there. Last time I just picked up a couple saws. Next time I need to aim for a bulk deal.

Buy the whole building.

Shoot, my wife woulda killed me for plunking down six bills for a nice shiny MMWS Dolmar 6100, I can only imagine what would happen if I told her I just bought an OPE shop...

That being said, there's not only a wood-burning stove and a couch sitting next to the Stihl display, there's a television too.... hmmm....
