Thats next on my list to try and buy right and test out. I always wanted to try a 590. So I bought a 9 month old one after winter broke.

Best bang for the buck going for new IMO. Even used.

I have this one SPF for $270 right now on my site.

The 600 I picked up for my nephew is still goin strong..

Those 590 are very hard to beat for the money, muff mod and carb retune and it’s a very aggressive machine. I can’t attest to if it will last 20-30 years but for the money it’s a fantastic deal. They also respond very well to porting.

I tell everybody around me that's on the hunt for a new firewood saw that a 590 isnt a bad choice..I didn't particularly care for it but I would never deny the value.

My neighbor has run the snot out of his 590 and it keeps going. He is not a saw guy and doesn't strike me as the type who is picky about fuel and oil either. It's a tool that just has to work and so far hasn't let him down.

But the echo is the only saw I know of that will actually oil a 30” bar.

There’s something to this...

My nephews 600 is on chain #3..

As in:
I’ve sharpened 2 chains to oblivion and he’s on #3 now...
The bar is still in good shape..
That tells me, the damn thing is oiling like it should be. Chain is always wet.

I think my CS-3000 would oil a 24" bar if you could get one to fit!
