Anyone use that size? @Ketchup ?

I’ve got my own hook that looks just like that. We don’t use much 3/8lp any more but we have years of damaged chains.

I was actually up late last night downsizing my junk chain inventory. It feels wrong throwing them in the scrap.

local high school likes using old saw chains for the forging class, If y'all want I can ask the shop teacher if he would like some?
I can get a lot into the flat rate usps boxes 😀
$17-22 I think…

Started another box today…

Same here. I get a lot of chains to sharpen every week. It goes in cycles as to when they get thrown and replaced with new. I have at least a year’s worth🤪
I’ve watched too much Forged in Fire to just throw them away.

I’ve received a few of those! About 33 pounds of chain packed into a USPS Medium Flat Rate box.

My mail carrier grins, because he knows what’s going on. Said he was happy that some people were getting their money’s worth!

Can anyone use two of these chains? Apparently I can’t read & thought I was ordering regular 3/8’s chain. It’s Hipa brand, which for hacks such as myself, is fine. I’ll ship it no charge to whoever can use it.

Chains are spoken for. Thank you.

I've used a few loups of Hipa on a Echo cs590, and on a ppt260 pole pruner. After a little bit of initial stretch, probably from my not dressing before initial use, they have been a good value IMO.
