I sent a PM to @farminkarman to see what he wants to do. Still has good compression and Kevin thought a new ring and clean the cylinder would take care of it. Could need a carb clean/kit as it hasn't been run for a couple of years.

My uncle brought this over for me to fix, he loaned it to a friend after our ice storm & when he got it back he couldn't start it, the p&c are good no scoring, I got it to fire up but when it idles its at 4k+ rpm & adjusting the carb does nothing so must have an air leak somewhere, I told him it's not worth fixing & gave him a homelite I got for free to replace it, before this goes to the scrap bin if anyone wants it, just pay for the shipping & it's yours.

Found this while weedwhacking and I've no use for it; missing a screw and the other is mildly rusty. Seems to be a cover for somewhere along the lines of 440/1/2 or 460/1/2, but i only spent a minute looking it up. Free, taker pays actual shipping. No idea when I'll get to the post office next.
