Just in time for Christmas, I encountered an extra copy of G. F. Beranek's Fundamentals of Treework. If anyone on here knows of a deserving person PM me their (or your) address and I'll send it on it's way.

Edit: Spoken for.

Thanks Dan!

Now I can get me a flannel shirt, a full-brimmed helmet, and really get into trouble!

Seriously, have long heard about this book, and look forward to reading through it.

Thanks!

Yep you can get into all kinds of trouble with those big Dakota trees😂. I know there’s a few left and most of them are to protect buildings from snow drifts. When I was in the eastern part of North Dakota doing road construction one of my coworkers told me welcome to North Dakota the land where there’s a beautiful woman behind every tree.

Free, just cover the ride. #1 is a used stock filter and filter cover for a 500i, no knob for the cover. No cracks that I saw, but there are wear scuffs, etc. EDIT: Spoken for. #2 is a non-USFS legal Husky 350 muffler, #3 is a home-built helper handle I got with some parts awhile back.

Last is a 42" hardnose bar, 46" overall length. The tip is shot but for a wall-hanger/display unit it'd look pretty decent. I'm not sure what mount it is, but it looks like the same mount pattern as an old Homelite 17L.

I actually know a guy at work that has an old homelite in that age group that wants a large bar for it to hang saw on wall with. Can’t remember if it’s a 5-30 or what but something in that era
