Hello fellas, we have started with winter log hauling now that the ground has frozen.

Here is a M39 military truck converted into a forwarder.

The M39 had a little carburetor trouble so it need to be pull started to avoid running down the batteries......

Once running, trucks were loaded one by one....

Today I hauled more logs from the site above.

After finishing, I was at home for dinner when I got a call to do a skid steer recovery from a mud pit in the bush.

I drive the 40 mins to the first log site, load our dozer and drive up the road to the next site.

After unloading the dozer, tracked to the bush, came upon this.....

The guys in the bush took these pictures while it was daylight out.

When I was doing the recovery, it was night time.

About 70 feet of strap and chains were used to keep dozer away from the mud and pull the skiddy out.

Once the machine was out, it was loaded up on my stepdeck trailer and taken to the owner's place for a good warm bath.....
