You might be right! Either my 460 or the 462 - I honestly can’t remember anymore what I had when I took the pic, and I’ve been using them both a lot lately.. And if it wasn’t a self taken picture, I would trade my cell phone for a beer in the other hand just about any time! I don’t drink while I work of course, but it’s certainly good to have one or two after a day of cutting trees.
I'm a lightweight, having beer in my hand while thirsty after sawing is a bad thing, because I'm pretty waisted after one normal beer, even to the point of hitting on the bosses wife, which I'm not to fond of my actions that day, neither was she.

It hits me quicker too. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone you’re a lightweight...

I never do selfies, but when I do it's from having half a beer too much. A couple weeks ago sawing trees for "view" right of way, and making them into firewood. It was a rough day, cracked a rib w20221021_094914.jpg hen I was pounding wedges in a back leaner, go figure. Yep the dam handle hit me in the ribs when the axe head just bounced off the felling wedges. Anyways, was offered one beer, yep I said ONE beer, then this selfie crap happins

At least you know your limits. That’s the important part.

Well kind of, half a beer on a empty stomach, I'm buzzed, 3/4 beer and I tippsey, one whole beer and I'm 3 sheets to the wind. Now I can handle one light beer like Coors lite or bud lite

That was my favorite saw there @Woodslasher take care of er ehh. Just a saw, just a saw they come and go like past and future girlfriends lol
She'll be well cared for during her time here, even though I've been banned from saw-nanigans for another few weeks. In the meantime I found a few pics of a few years back when the Slasher decided it would be fun to fall, limb, and buck a 16" fir with an axe. My shoulders hurt like hell the day after and I haven't tried pulling a stunt like that since.

Holy crap, now that's real work, and I'm sure your axe was razor sharp!

My axes have become legendary for the keenness of their edge and their knack for inflicting cuts on careless passers-by. Up until a few years ago I bore a 3" scar on my left arm from when one tried to fillet my bicep due to my not thinking. For a few years I figured it would be fun to be a real axe man so I did all my clearing with an axe. The trees only got up to 12" in diameter or so, but it was real bull work. Then I ran a chainsaw for the 1st time and now I'm here!
