I tried something similar a while back. I was not a fan. It didn’t handle the clutch side handle on the 461 very well and it pulled back on my shoulder too much to be anything close to be considered comfortable. There’s not enough space to carry much other than the saw, it doesn’t work with a conventional dulmar and it makes your fire shelter rub on your ass too much. It also caused the bar to knock off my Bullard a few times, but that may be a product of me having a 32 on and me being 5’6 with a really short torso.

But, different strokes for different folks, YMMV, yada. I could see it be a nice option for an R8 crew that’s never very far from the truck, runs half wraps and doesn’t run a long bar. I’ll just be sticking to a cut section of 5”’supply hose across the left strap of my pack.
