That would be nice. A lot more organization and room.
Rig it and rip it out.Ok, fellers how would you fell this without busting the log? It’s leaning East. I want it to go South. I will have a lift and backhoe and or big loader and big truck with cable.
I don’t really want to cut into that huge mess at the bottom. If I cut it off above it, I’m afraid it will fall too far and break. So I’m leaning towards cabling it up, digging it out, and pulling it over. Stump needs to come out anyway.

That’s true...I’m looking into several options at the moment.I’ve ran both but will never go to a full service body you lose the ability to tow fifth wheel which is huge for me. We have one flat bed built with 5’ upper tool boxes on the sides and a couple under the bed plus I still have a fifth wheel mounting still available.

What you using on that 148 Fecon? Spent a summer running an ASV PT100 with a Fecon mulching head. Most of it was for the fire safe program but also some work for the forest service. Got a bigger job down around Potlatch, ID so my boss decided to rent a Fecon machine (I think it was the 90) so we could get it done quicker. Of course he wanted to run the rental with the steel tracks and let me slide down the mountain on the rubber tracks.Up here in northern New MexView attachment 278017
