I lived in Gibsons BC, there is a large sorting ground @ Port Mellon nearby ,, got to watch those dump from the shore or my boat, very impressive. Got to watch one load export logs to Japan.

No today they are rigging the yarder up.

I saw that a few years back. It works fairly well. These extended grousers aren’t doing the road any favors.

We called them rock tillers when we first saw the roads afterwards but they do help till out the debris.
