Lol I do that all the time. Talking about heavy leaners that you can’t chase and are too big to poke through on the other side to line up.Theres no lining up of cuts. Notch her and bore in behind the notch on the lean side and bring her around. Easy as that. Hahahahaha
A wicker on your bar or a dull chain makes it hard to leave a nice stump.I was a little off on this one, but not bad. View attachment 228282

Nice pictures Clearcut. I shot my very first buck up Paradise creek when I was 12 off the first spur road to the left after leaving 138. I remember being so excited I made my dad drive with tailgate down in his Chevy Luv so I could show it off the whole way home. It was a nice 5x3 Blacktail .View attachment 229180 View attachment 229181 View attachment 229182 View attachment 229183 View attachment 229184 Some pictures I took up Paradise creek on the way home from work the day before I broke my collarbone.

View attachment 229306 The buncher at work today. I went to work today with @HYPERSAWS so he could work, as the other cutters were taking today off.
That's a nice size bearTim K. and I were working a strip for the company off of the Burnt Mountain access road above Park Creek in 2004, and another faller on that job, Gary S., shot a dandy black bear
about 3/4 of a mile off the access road. We rigged up a big Fir limb and tied it across his shoulders and the three of us drug it out to the road. The gross weight on it was a
little over 300 lbs. They get pretty big up there - lots to eat.
