Pup had her morning food and cuddle, then jumped up and stormed to the door wanting out.

I keep seeing grooming videos on YT where the pups claws get clipped ugly short and I don't get it.
I love my pups paws and the accompanying claws, also she needs them to bank when running and to dig up field mice and other critters.
She doesn't scratch furniture in the house, my neck when giving me kisses yes, but that is part of her personality.

My wife uses my Dremel with the sanding wheel on Harley with the fine paper and takes just the pointy tip off the nail .
She got the idea from our groomer who's been doing it that way for years .
I know you have to be very careful using the clippers not to take to much off or they bleed .

These tried to flee as she was sun drying on my lap, I killed them!


All part of having a pup.

Two more, the fleas seem to be dazed by the shampoo as they aren't fast moving nor jumping.
I am stocking up on the shampoo I am using for my pup!

In my post that You quoted, one tick (top) and one flea (bottom).
The flea "pops" when squished with a finger nail against the bench wooden armrest , the tick needs to be squished between two metal surfaces.

Also, the body shape and layout of the bugs legs clearly identifies fleas from ticks.

Koda is 95lbs of total dipstick, that's for sure!
My wife wants to get one of those dog DNA kits to see what he actually is.
The shelter had him listed as a "shepherd mix". All the others that were supposedly his brothers and sisters looked like Australian shepherds and only 1 other looked like him.
