They are around buddyDaaaaang. Love those 372's. Especially the xpw. Maybe I'll be able to get ahold of one, one of these days
Mine too lolOught oh my eyes are going bad
Looks great for it's age.
So those caps will replace the flippy caps? I've never taken them off the 290 case to find out. Are they better than the flippy's?Most expensive caps on earth I imagine.
Farmertec includes them on their MS290 replacement crankcases which for some reason cost twice as much as any of the others and despite my offer to buy 2000 of them at whatever price they wanted to name, they wont/can't sell them separately.
So after shipping and customs they run me about $48.00 for a pair, but they are flippy caps that don't flip, you just twist them in and they lock.
no idea what is really going on in regards to this but they look cool on a saw and we all know looking cool makes a saw fast and powerful
Dave
I've seen them a few times...just didn't have, or didn't want to pony up what they were asking at the time. They are around buddy
they replace the larger flippy caps nicely, I haven't put any hours on them but a tree service has an MS361 they got from me early this year that has one on it I got as a sample and it is still working fine and leak freeSo those caps will replace the flippy caps? So its the 73.5 ccIt's 2009 week 3. They didn't have the xpw with the bigger cylinder until late 2006.
I'm gonna search for some.they replace the larger flippy caps nicely, I haven't put any hours on them but a tree service has an MS361 they got from me early this year that has one on it I got as a sample and it is still working fine and leak free
I worry a little that they may ear out themselves or wear the mating surface on the tank opening, but only time will tell I guess, I certainly don't put enough time on a saw that imagine it would ever be a problem.
I know some guys hate flippys like the caps stole from them
Dave
I like it!!
First time I seen them. Thanks.Check post above with video of the ones from 2011.
