I was talking about the one in the videoThe one on my bench is an oem flat top
Oh ok. I'm 0 for 2 tonight lol just heard a lot of people had problems with the wrist pins with the 288 piston. Not a 288
288 wrist pin bearings are fine as long as you use Oem and not aftermarketOh ok. I'm 0 for 2 tonight lol just heard a lot of people had problems with the wrist pins with the 288 piston.
Right, which was the problem.288 wrist pin bearings are fine as long as you use Oem and not aftermarket
Will do Jake. Glad you guys all liked the coffee@huskihl thanks for the echo parts and the good coffee
i plan to mess with it tomorrow and find out how many parts are still usable.
bring a extra bag of the columbian supremo next time i want to purchase one.
I was just saying that the aftermarket bearings were the problem on the 288's wrist pin bearing, not the cause of this saws death. I have no clue about this saw. It's a sad sight tho, looked like a nice saw.Cause if the carnage is still kinda unknown for sure but the rumors are that the piston let go
Ok yeah I totally agree about the bearings, any aftermarket wrist pin bearing is junk for that matter. Even on the 66 big boresI was just saying that the aftermarket bearings were the problem on the 288's wrist pin bearing, not the cause of this saws death. I have no clue about this saw. I'll keep that in mind when I build my 288Ok yeah I totally agree about the bearings, any aftermarket wrist pin bearing is junk for that matter. Even on the 66 big bores
It fits anythingI think it will be fine once I figure out what it fits lol. It's not worn out and the tip rolls good.
