i plan to mess with it tomorrow and find out how many parts are still usable.
bring a extra bag of the columbian supremo next time i want to purchase one.

Cause if the carnage is still kinda unknown for sure but the rumors are that the piston let go
I was just saying that the aftermarket bearings were the problem on the 288's wrist pin bearing, not the cause of this saws death. I have no clue about this saw. It's a sad sight tho, looked like a nice saw.

Ok yeah I totally agree about the bearings, any aftermarket wrist pin bearing is junk for that matter. Even on the 66 big bores
