Researched fact: Sugihara chain is not made in Japan- it's Chinese made chain (they do claim it's steel from Germany) put in a box with Sugihara printed on it.

Of course, Sugihara bars, like Tsumura bars, are tier one.

Yes, Sugihara (a.k.a. Diatop) chain is made in China- I won't buy any Sugi chain, but I'll buy their Japanese bars.

Other than telling us that Sugihara is Diatop Corp., there's virtually no product info in that 'catalog', which is unfortunate.

If it were a product manufactured in a country that is dubbed as "high quality" they would make certain to point it out!

I just typed in DIATOP into Google search to see what results I'd get.
I don't care about their chains/products nor where they are made.
