Stock mufflers

I believe the factory dp muff 066s (Magnums) were rated at about 1/2 Hp more.

Wonder what real life decibles are between the 066 and 660 mufflers ,i see they both have an inside baffle

I typically prefer an opened up muffler wether it helps cut timed or not. The saws run so much better it's a no brainer. They typically idle better, spool up faster, run cooler, and in some instances feel smoother. In some cases they're easier on the ears to as a lot of really stifled saws have a shrill tone to them that hurts my ears more than a louder saws does. Any bump in hp is just a bonus really.

My saws are generally a good deal louder than stock but they run better too!

Hienmen and that damn saw he had 2 yrs ago was so load 100 yds away you couldnt carry on a conversation it had a 2 in pipe for exhaust
