When your dealer only give u 10% when u buy 10 units u have a bad dealer. My dealer gives me always 20% sometimes more on the big ones. Other dealer here give 10 or 0% discount. So in my opinion u have a bad dealer
That one may be bad on prices, but the other local Stihl dealer nearly kicked me out of his shop when I inquired about 661 parts by part numbers.
The other Stihl dealer won't sell You any parts, he insists You to bring Your unit in and "he will replace what is necessary" - this bloke has been caught installing AM parts and charging them at Stihl list prices.

Between the two I pick the former!

99% Stihl related items I am getting aren't for me anyways.
I am sorry but those are the prices, either You accept them or You find Yourself another source - I have no dog in this one way or the other.

Stihl ( as well as makita)has a factory right here in good ol' South Carolina, so I don't have any problem buying stihl parts.
I just got 2 034 fuel lines and it took over a week but the parts have ZERO failure rate for me, so do I want to do it twice + or one and done?( I use them in ten series Macs)
My dealer has enough work to last them 3 lifetimes , maybe if certain dealers are struggling they might see an independent repair man as a threat and don't want to throw them a bone.
