little heat..little lube...tap the metal IN to loosen bond...and they usually come out with little fanfare...

Ok, so I'm NOT the only one that thinks that seal puller is a P.O.S.

I got the HL Supply/Farmertech whatever one, no instructions, all those different puller arms, missing hardware, get it all set up and those stupid arms just keep slipping past the seals.

Even the chinese one wasn't cheap.

it really is a good copy. I got to believe I do NOT understand how its used correctly because I can't get mine to do Xhit. I have asked MANY times how-to set the "Jaws" but to no avail...not a single vid of it in use or how the jaws are used.... I will claim ignorance on this tools use.
Anybody have and LIKE the Husky seal tool ? Much cheaper... not gonna work with 026/200t sized stuff though

I bought the Lisle version. They look identical. It comes with 2 hooks so I took 1 and ground it a little shorter. Seems to work fine so far, but I’ve only used it a few times.
too small for the FW side 026 seal.the stihl tool works fine
set the attatched puller arms along the crank and tap the top
until the edges plunge beneath the seal, adjust the top screws to set
side pressure ,rotate it on its axis once and slowly pull the seal out

I've used the seal puller many, many times. I pulled off those cheap butterfly nuts and replaced them with torx. Gives me more bite into the seal. Works every time. And you,'ve got to go into the ipl for the number on the stihl seals at least. Dalls right, it was pricey but worth it in my case.

I got it off eBay and was almost 200 bucks
In my opinion it needs the shoulders modified to get a bigger shelf
