Source for obsolete crank seals

I’m starting to work on all the Shindaiwa saws I have…in pieces, and have discovered that Shindaiwa/Echo has replaced one seal with an incorrect one. Seal in question is the FW side on the early 550-575 saws with the smaller, 11mm pin, 12mm FW shaft crank. Specs are: 12mm/19mm/4.5mm. (22150-21250)
They replaced it with the updated 22155-21250 (v505000140) which is 13mm/19mm/4.5mm. Oops.
Maybe they expected you to upgrade the crank as well

So, is there any reference material that lists seals by their dimensions rather than a part#?
There may well be an equivalent Echo seal but I have no idea how to even look for it.
My local dealer doesn’t deal much with saws so is trying but not a lot of help on that one part. He was able to order all the other seals and bearings.

I’ll most likely be cutting my own case gaskets as they are NLA and I only have 1

Download the Oregon Sprocket Reference pdf & it will show crank diameter of many different makes models & go from there.

Echo cs4000, 4500, 4600, 5000, 5500 all have .472 cranks.
The parts houses MIGHT list the actual dimensions of the seal.

There's quite a few bearing and seal catalogs available online that list dimensions. This is the Timken/National catalog:

It's huge (712 pages). I don't know if Motion Industries still offers a print catalog but that was a great resource that I've used
for many years (I have the 2008 edition).

Parts tree says they have 12 in stock not sure if they are the right size or not

12x19x5 is more of a standard size if you have room for the extra .5mm.

There's double lip ones on Ebay.

I have the master interchange book published by Bearings Inc .That lists nearly every seal ever made .However Stihl for an example has many seals they own the patent rights to world wide .Those however despite Stihl often can be cross checked to something that will work but it takes a lot of research to do so .An example fresh in my mind is the clutch side seal for the Stihl 042/048 .According to Stihl NLA 9640-003-3990 .20x35.8 x 4 .Type those into Google you can find them .

Definitely room for extra .5mm on the 695's.
575 should be identical.

Nope. Superseded to v505000140 which is the 13mm, same as the 22155

Good! I've run into some saws where you can't find seals for them. I just measure em and look online till I find what I want. Same with saws that have the seal built into the bearing.
