It shows up in the 2025 stihl us catalog
3679 005 1640 should be a 100ft reel part number
If you want loops, instead of 1640 at the end of part number above, you would add 00 then your drive link count.
Example 3679 005 0105 for 32" bar 105DL

I don't want to rain on your parade, but...It flat out sucks out of the box/off the reel. ymmv.

I have some, despite being warned. I bought it because I can convert it to my angles without losing as much tooth as converting other chain from round. Oak here... PNW probably different story/results

eta: you probably couldn't be any farther from Bailey's, but they have C-83 rolls for $299.00 (it's not round and it's not square)

I see there are some 20 inch 50 gauge loops on eBay and Byrce has 24 inch .063 gauge loops

How does the stihl square compare to the Oregon? Just ordered a 28" loop of Oregon and a couple files. Going to try my hand at square filing.

Stihl always had very good edge retention, because of the tooth hardness, the C83SK is good to , Oregon has had issues in quality, it's not the same as the NOS Oregon use to be,
