Ohhh boy, I hope it's not a disappointment.
Edit: looks like it's gonna be a carb saw.

Sorry not yet but soon
Ok thanks for pointing that out, interesting saw nontheless. Probably has to do with the expiring of some Husky patents they can finally design it like this. That is the MS 400 on the pictures.
Don't want to thread jack I'll delete it if so.
But, I got some pictures of the Clone 880.
I wonder if I could get one in the white so I could polish and powder coat it clear.....Fingers crossed, the parts look good from what I see, I hope they fit together.
I have some informations:
I found something in the stihl parts catalog:
Stihl MS 881 (Z) - parts no. starting with 1124
This makes me think the MS 881 will be a reworkes MS 880
Like the MS 460/461
And no Mtronic.

I doubt that. If anything the stroke will be shorter and require a new jug to match timing.Maybe they opened up the clearance on the cases so a new 136cc cylinder can be installed with new porting. Going from regular carb to mtronic wouldn’t be very hard either change the coil add the solenoid controlled carb and there it is.
