That´s just the chain oil thrown off from guide bar and chain.
The helmet is available in Germany and is called Advance X-Vent.

Stout saw for sure with a price tag to match. This saw really is a benchmark model in the evolution of the modern gas saw, it will be remembered. But....would it outperform my stock 681 Solo? Not sure...

Not to put the 500i down, but in that size wood there will not be much difference. Seems to have a really wide power band, that's what fuel injection can do.

I always worried about the injector or pump get clogged by saw dust... My be its just low pressure injection that has reasonably big injecting holes like a regular carb?
