I am looking for a good used oem ms 650 cylinder. It is 52mm bore. Let me know if you got anything. Blew a pto bearing and but one pretty deep groove in the cylinder wall that runs from the top of the transfer to the squish band. Catches my finger nail all the way up.

I know the 660 cylinder is bolt on. I like a 650 cylinder with a 064 piston runs pretty good. Gunn sending pm.

Now im curious as to the difference between the 064 and ms650 pistons
I stock the meteor and oem 064 pistons and just ordered a couple of 650 pistons to compare.
Is there a difference in the performance of the saw with the 064 piston?

I don't remember all the differences. The one thing I remember is the 064 has a taller compression height. It feels stronger than a stock 650. But a tighter squish band and more compression will do that. Do hold me to it put I think the skirts are a little longer on the 064 piston. I am also running a dual port front cover and the baffle ripped out of the back half with an enlarged hole on the back half as well.

I told you wrong. Guess my memory ain't as good as it once was. Compression height is the same. Over all length of 650 piston 1.668 064 piston 1.700. Skirt width 650 - 1.371/ 064 - 1.382. I don't have any timing numbers for the 650 cylinder with 064 piston. Guess that would help to figure it out.

Still hunting for one.
I can try and get more pics later...gotta go to a birthday party and my wife said I have to get the kids ready and stop playing with my *f-wording chainsaws. No respect. There is a little scratch above the intake but I can't really feel it. I can send it before you decide if you want it and we can square up afterward if you do.

Here's a couple more of the exhaust side. I'm no photographer so these are about the best I'll be able to get....but if you're interested I'll send you the jug and if you like it, we'll square up after you give the ok.
