This is one saw I’m actually curious to run when it finally hits the states. 67cc in a 562 size package sounds interesting.

Didn't the 462 already do this (with 70cc)??? I thought the new 562 (more bolts) and 462 are both about 13.2 lbs??? (The previous 562s were lighter)
The 462 weighs a little more more fully fueled because it holds more fluids. It is a true 70cc machine that is on the smaller side... just like the 044 that preceded it. Pho empty spec should only matter if one needs to know for shelf capacity in there shed ;). Or for marketing to sell more saws. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing the capabilities of almost 70cc on a true 60cc chassis with the ms400c. Husqvarna might be forced to come out with something competitive for the ms400c. Should be interesting to see.

I saw one the other day.

So, I'm confused with this picture, the Sales ad says fuel injection, but all other info on the MS400C says M-Tronic...

First time I've heard of it being Fuel Injected, but what do I know?

Interesting if they do that.

I think the success of the 400 will depend on how much lower it is in price than a 462.

And, not to nit pick, but empty powerhead weight does matter ... yes I fill a saw when I begin using it, but it is often near empty when I finish with it, so to dismiss the empty weight is not right either.

This saw interests me not because it's a stihl or because it's "light for the cc's and HP" but because it's a mid 60's cc saw and I like that. Around here 90% of the wood can be cut with a 20 inch bar and I like how a saw that size handles that size of bar. Kinda like a jonsered 670, 2165 or a dolmar 6400.
The weight or the hp won't sell me the saw but the engine size and the way it handles might.

I’d be curious if it the ms400 could pull and oil a 24 in hardwood. It would be a real threat to a 562 or just about any 60cc on the market now if it could do that.
