Must be 50% betterer.
But of course! The pricing is pretty wacky here, it comes with a 18 inch bar and no heat but costs 11500kr. The 462 comes with a 20 inch es light and heat and costs 12875kr. If the 400 was equipped like the 462 it would cost more. I figure they are trying to gouge since they are the only ones listing it. If the price doesn't come down then I think Stihl has lost their mind.

The 400 will be sold along with the 362 only difference between them is the top end and maybe the coil. The oil pump and all the other stuff is the same as a 362. 59cc for the 362 and 67cc for the 400
No? pretty much the same clothes but different animal all together. For example case halves are different since port are charged from the front (400) not on the sides (362).

Prices in most of Europe usually include tax. That is with 21% vat. If you have a VAT accnt with revenue, which some pros and outfits do, you pay no VAT on equipment. This sort of is the definition of VAT - a traceable tax. But that's another thread.

Nice to know the truth, any idea when you will have them?

I think to "sell", it needs to be priced about 1/2 way between the 462 and 362. The 462 will be very tough competition!

I haven’t got to see the break downs of the saws yet, I was just saying what I was told buy someone that should be a fairly reliable source so didn’t know transfers were different because I was just told same saw as a 362 with bigger bore and mag piston for quick revs. His words were same saw minus the top end and few other things.

My understanding was 1st quarter next year which means a year after that. Price point is a split between a 362 and 462 from the sounds.

Listen all saws are listed at the moment

But... Goodbye 362, 441, 461

The new Stihl era prevails for 2019, just remember what I wrote after few months

What do you mean the 362 is gone? 3 years later and it's still here... the 461 is still for sale in Canada as well...
