Stihl FS 100RX vs new FS 111RX

Whats the differences between these models and which is better?

Basically the same block, not much interchanges though.

I have read the fs 111rx uses a metal shaft of some type while the old 100rx used a cable shaft.

I have read the fs 111rx uses a metal shaft of some type while the old 100rx used a cable shaft.

I have the 111RX and it has a hollow driveshaft. If I had it to do all over again I'd get another 94R or Husky 525LS.
