Just curious if anyone has done this before or has seen one setup on a mill? I have 2 Contra's, just rebuilt the one in worse condition but it runs very well now (all new and NOS OEM parts). The other isn't currently running but it will be rebuilt using same parts for occasional use, but mainly display.
There is a collector who is looking to trade an MS880 in good condition with a choice of bars (25, 36, 47 with new chain) for a Contra or 070 or 090.
Thinking 880 would be better for milling, if only for parts availability, but I know the 1106 series are brutes for torque.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
