Not to derail your fine thread, but mine has a wj41. It's not listed in my ipl. Anybody got any input?

Measure the venturi and bore and we can compare. Does it have a screw in jet?

These saws had a pile of different carbs, I can't tell any performance change between any off them but I always put a 69 on my saws but I don't know why.
Fixed jet or not I don't care, I haven't ran out for fuel yet I'm still needing air!

If you grind to far it won't tune, it will run but have idle trouble.

Lol. Makes me wonder how many hours you have put on the 066, tinkering and tuning, over the years!!

It's the only saw people use here, women and children included. Everybody has a few and they all want to be able to get everyone's money on Friday at the log pile, I have ported 100's and worked on who knows how many.

I work on saws everyday and it's almost always a 066/660.

1122 has Got to be the easiest saw I've ever worked on. Can't say a thing about porting as that is not my thing, but wrenching on a 1122 is a joy. (running a 1128 is easier on my back though..)
