Race chains play hell on your hands

Never had a race chain but I can imagine. Just got my first square ground thanks to @Definitive Dave from the Christmas thread.
Now I gotta learn how to sharpen those.

This one covers the sprocket, kinda

The bottom cover shown in Deets' Pic is like the one I made. Mine angles back a little, so I guess mine is a cross breed. Soon as it warms up a little I'll give it a complete test in some big ash. I've got a whopper staring me in the face -- nearly 100 years old that was dropped by a crew two weeks ago. The bottom 15' of the trunk will produce at least three full truckloads.

BTW, this was an 034 thread originally. So, in honor of OP, I'll pull out my 034 that I upgraded to an 036 and see how well she noodle cuts with a 20" bar and a sharp chain.
