This is a fairly rare picture of the UP4014 (Big Boy) double heading with the UP844 (last steam engine built for the UP) to Promontory Utah for the 150th Anniversary of Driving the Golden Spike. Location is Hermosa, WY.

Dayum, that looks fun as hell. I've seen pictures of mini railroads about the same size used for actual work purposes (mining, agriculture, and so on) in other countries.
