Spring cleaning

Gave the 262 a little cleaning. I have other saws but always try to get this one out a few times a year for 2-3 cord.

Looks nice!! I have a question lol. Is that the same clutch cover as a 55? The spike looks the same too. I have an outside that matches the inner but they dont line up

That looks like it must have been a lot of work.....a few fingerprints and eyelashes. Lol.
I've seen brand new saws on the dealers shelf that are dirtier than that thing was.

Not sure it's ready for the museum yet. It was my only saw for 20 years before discovering these saw sites. Other than a carb kit, fuel lines & filter, plugs, & a leaky fuel tank vent it's been flawless. I still have the brochure from 1990 if it does end up in the museum. The 562 is a worthy replacement in my mind.

No, clutch cover is not the same, but spikes are.
