I am assuming that Poulan doesn't make their own bars so if they don't, who makes them for Poulan. Also, are their bars any good?
I just picked up nine 20" bars and three 18" bars from Princess Auto(the Canadian version of Harbour Freight in the US). They were $8 each so I bought everything they had. Is this snag thread worthy?

I am not familiar with Poulan products.
That been said those four rivet sprocket noses do not look like any Oregon sprocket nose bars I have ever seen or ran.
I have Oregon bars with four rivets but they are aligned differently.
I'd wager those are not made by Oregon.

Snag?
Maybe, maybe not quite - IIRC HLSupply tends to have Raisman bars on sale for 10ish bucks.

Thanks Wilhelm. We normally don't find deals like this here in Western Canada so I jumped on it. Maybe I'll put one on a saw and try it out, I can always return the rest if they are junk.

I came uppon a guy about 2 years ago on ebay who won a contract with whoever really makes poulan/ craftsman/ remington saws. The contract was to destroy recalled saws. He took off all the bars, side nuts, chains, and spark plugs, knocked a hole in the piston, and trashed the saws. Huge shame in my opinion, but I ended up with roughly 8,000 bars, countless bar nuts and spark plugs ( and alot of chains but those are in the personal vault).

All the bars say either poulan, craftsman, or remington on them in paint but at the end where you see the sizing, most of them were laser etched OREGON. and they are identical to the bars in your pictures. So i vote oregon. Also, If anyone wants a s**t ton of bars i need them out of my building.

Also, Nothing bad about poulan or oregon, but these are definitly oregons cheapest grade bars. I've got a poulan that I enjoy limbing bushes around the house with, but I ended up substituting to a Oregon microlite bar

Only after I replied I noticed You were from Canada, as such You got Yourself a good deal on those bar if You can use them.

I noticed that I need chains, but I have yet to swap out a bar due to wear or damage.
Dolmar bars are made by Oregon, even the laminate ones hold up great.
I find A041 mount bars show the most noticeable wear, the D009 are tough, K095 hold up well too.
